Nike Super Shoe Cancelled

The Nike Zoom Air Viperfly sprint spikes have been shelved after rival manufactures fear the shoes could potential wipe of Usain Bolts world records. Even by an inferior sprinter!

Nike said that the spikes were “designed specifically for the 100 metres, the truest test of pure human speed” But it remains a fact that records are meant to be broken. 

The real question is will Nike re engineer the ground breaking spikes for a later release? Whether the shoes give an advantage or not the athletes can only use what's provided to them by their sponsor and accept that running footwear technology has vastly improved in recent years.
